Steel Bones are thrilled to announce they have won the Tesco Bags of Help Tokens Vote which grants them a colossal £4,000 of much needed funds to make their Celebration Day 2018 possible.

Steel Bones received overwhelming support from the local community to help them realise their massive goal.  This year will be the first time the Charity organise the entire event on their own.  They have previously had amazing and outstanding support from RAF MILDENHALL but due to the overwhelming demand for it to become a bigger event they had to come off base.

This grant will make the day a very special one for amputee families and all volunteers involved.  It will include inspirational talks from Paralympians, leading amputees in their fields and amputee experts plus face painting, holistic treatments for amputees and their carers, bouncy castles and some truly exciting entertainment to give the families a brilliant treat to remember.

Emma, Founder of Steel Bones said “we are absolutely bowled over by the support we received. It is amazing to have Tesco’s support and the strong backing of the community. THANK YOU SO MUCH”

Leigh, Also a Founder said “These days are absolutely essential to giving amputee families a boost from the daily struggles they face.  It’s so important we unite as a community as it’s very easy to feel so lonely. It has been a lifeline to my family and so many others. We are so very very excited about Celebration Day 2018!”

Everyone at Steel Bones is so grateful to everyone who made this possible !! And thank you to Tesco for such a brilliant scheme.
