On a cold and wet evening in November, Steel Bones Trustees and their guests gathered for the charity’s 2nd Formal AGM. The event was held at the prestigious Jockey Club venue in Newmarket which was a wonderful setting and their fantastic team gave expert hospitality.

Steel Bones’ Chair, Colin Phelps gave a warm welcome to guests from all aspects of Steel Bones life including amputee families, Newmarket Rotary Club’s President Andrew Rycraft and Alf Barker, Abbeycroft Leisure and Business Supporters.

Colin took us through the Annual Report followed by the Finances report and then we closed the AGM to enjoy canapés and Prosecco.

Trustees enjoyed talking with guests about current developments along with admiring the incredible art at the venue.  The cosy log fires were much welcomed.

Trustees wish to thank everyone who made it to the event and to The Jockey Club for their sponsorship of the event. We much look forward to keeping everyone updated with what promises to be a significant year in Steel Bones life.
