LATEST EMAIL…Dear stakeholder

We are recruiting for patient and public voice (PPV) partner roles across Specialised Commissioning. Our PPV Partner roles attract an honorarium payment of £150 per day or £75 per half day and expenses are covered.

We are particularly keen to have applications from people with relevant lived experience as a patient or carer and who are also connected in with patient groups.

Please share details of these vacancies through your channels if relevant, such as newsletters or social media.

Currently we have the following patient and public voice (PPV) partner vacancies:

Independent Patient and Public Voice (PPV) Partner for Specialised Commissioning’s Patient and Public Voice Assurance Group (PPVAG)

The Patient and Public Voice Assurance Group (PPVAG) is a committee which provides strategic assurance to NHS England on the involvement of patients and the public in the development of national specialised services. You’d be joining 14 other PPV Partners on this group, which meets monthly.

We are keen to hear from people who have experience of bringing the public patient voice to healthcare services and can understand and evaluate clinical information and evidence. These roles are independent, which means you are not eligible to apply if you already hold a Specialised Commissioning PPV Partner role at NHS England.

You need to be able to attend 12 meetings per year, mostly online, and to read papers in advance. Find out more about PPVAG

  • Closing date: 17 December 2023
    Interviews: 11 and 12 January 2024
