0Steel Bones is passionate about empowering our community to support and motivate one another. We know the only people who truly get what amputee families face are other amputee families. Hence, we are looking to recruit more volunteers to help us help as many amputee families as possible.
To be a volunteer you don’t need any particular skills or qualifications – we work with everyone and anyone but you do need a passion to help others and for our cause. We love working with volunteers, as they are the life force of Steel Bones. without an amazing band of volunteers Steel Bones would not be where it is today. We also love thanking our volunteers and ensuring we work with them to reach their goals. Time is precious so we will always be extremely grateful to anyone who supports us to help more amputee families.
There is always heaps to do so whether you want to do admin work, help out at events, support our families, send out our support packs, take part in our school visits or host a fundraiser or social coffee morning whatever it may be we are sure there will be room for you to join our army of volunteers whom we call STEEL BONES CHAMPIONS.
Are you still keen to get involved? well then join us for our Volunteering Open Evening on Wednesday 20th November 4.30-6.30pm. We have planned an informal get together where you can meet our current volunteers. You will enjoy tea, coffee, refreshments whilst finding out more about working with us and talk over ways in which you might like to contribute to helping us help more amputee families.
We know there are many amazing people who are keen to get more involved and we would love to see you and chat more – of course no obligation just come have catch up with us.
