An update from Trustees
We send our very best wishes to all amputee families in these uncertain times.
Like all charities, we have had to take the hard decision to continue to postpone all face to face activities in line with recent Government guidance. It is extremely disappointing to cancel the annual festivities for the most special time of year but our community’s safety is of paramount importance to us. Whilst activities are cancelled, our Volunteers and Development Manager will continue to work from their homes to support amputee families across the UK.
We remain committed to ensuring amputee families are supported during these difficult times. We will continue to host a weekly coffee morning online and a weekly quiz plus some exciting one off events such as our Annual General Meeting which will be held on Zoom on 17th November 5-6pm. We also have some special plans for Halloween and Christmas which will be revealed in the coming weeks. We hope as many Steel Bones families can participate as possible.
