Hey Steel Bones Families
Welcome to the Steel Bones Community. You will be receiving your free support pack and your Celebration Day pack this week. We would love to say a MASSIVE MASSIVE THANK YOU to all the Steel Bones Champions who packed 700 packs to be mailed out plus Royal Mail who got them to you super quick. We were very grateful to have volunteers from CFG Law to bulk up the troops on the packing day and also kindly donated pens and printed the sheets to be included. Thank you CFG Law, we are grateful for your support.
Here’s some details on the weekend’s festivities below, we cannot wait to celebrate with you:
Sincerely hope you are keeping cool. We are so excited to celebrate another Celebration Day At Home. We can promise you the whole team is working hard to add some extra sparkle into proceedings. This is designed to be an event in which amputee families unite, to celebrate getting through the toughest of years. To hear from one another, laugh together and perhaps even a little singing and dancing.
We have a lot of fun lined up, here’s the schedule for the Zoom showcase:

- Do you have young people who would love to share a family friendly joke? Please let us know as we would love to have them share it on the zoom
- Send us any questions you would like to ask our Panel of amputees who will be answering the following questions 1. What do you wish you had known pre amputation? 2. |What can you now pass onto other amputees?
- Email or post your photos on social media with #CelebrationDayAtHome2021 showing you enjoying the Pack goodies – creative photos using the items enclosed in the pack and showing celebratory unity will be amazing |There is a prize up for grabs for the most creative and fun !
