We are very grateful to have secured £5,000 from the Suffolk Coronavirus Fund to distribute amongst Suffolk amputee families. This is vital and urgent funding for those most vulnerable. All these funds will be spent on food/fuel vouchers, home schooling items and in some cases digital technology to help isolated families keep in touch with the outside world. We know these funds will be a lifeline to local amputee families to overcome these unprecedented times.
If you are a Suffolk Amputee Family who does not receive our regular emails you must register your interest in the fund here first: http://eepurl.com/cWJvEP Please put in the challenges box: “applying for Suffolk Coronavirus Fund” and we shall be in touch with the link to the short application form soon after. Applications are open until 17th April so we can distribute these funds urgently.
We are already working with several families but we have opened it up to ensure we do not miss any amputee families who do not already know us and need this support too. If you already know us please just email, message or ring us for the link to the Fund’s application form. Trustees will assess all applications and support as many families as possible. We expect families to receive between £50 and £200 of support each application will be assessed case by case.
Trustees would like to thank Suffolk Community Fund and National Emergencies Trust for making this possible and for prioritising local amputee families in need of this urgent support.

Fantastic thank you
It would be nice to think that amputees like myself might actually receive some well needed funds in return for the thousands we have raised for SB, but we shall see if it actually happens! I won’t hold my breath!
