Exciting News: Steel Bones Launches New Careers Guidance Programme!

Steel Bones is proud to announce the launch of a groundbreaking Careers Guidance Programme, designed to help amputees rebuild career confidence, transition their skills, and find meaningful employment.
This exciting new initiative comes at a perfect time as we celebrate Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month this April.

Developed in collaboration with careers expert Tony McBride and professional CV writer Lindsay Fullarton, the programme offers a first-of-its-kind, tailored approach to supporting amputees in re-entering the workforce with confidence.

Gary, Chairman of Steel Bones, said:
“At Steel Bones, we understand that recovery isn’t just physical—it’s emotional, social, and financial too. Our new Careers Programme ensures amputees have the tools, confidence, and community support they need to thrive in the workplace.”

✨ What the Careers Guidance Programme Offers:

  • Resource Library: We are building a resource library of easy-to-access fact sheets, guides, and podcasts on everything from CV writing and interview skills to understanding workplace adjustments and legal rights.

  • One-to-One Support: Book personalised career coaching calls with Tony or Lindsay for tailored advice.
