CANOE CHALLENGE 2024

WE ARE VERY EXCITED TO LAUNCH OUR FIRST FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE SINCE 2018. 

Our Canoe Challenge 2024 is happening only thanks to the incredible support of Sudbury Canoe Club.  It is designed to suit all levels of those who enjoy water and canoeing.  The challenge is Sudbury to the Sea, 26 miles spread over 2 days with a night camping at Wissington near Nayland. This is a very scenic route, enjoying its many delights and seeing parts of the local countryside that are inaccessible by foot or road. You can take part in some of it or all of it, it offers a genuine test of endurance and a deeply satisfying sense of accomplishment upon finishing.

Date of fundraiser: Saturday and Sunday 7th and 8th September in Sudbury, Suffolk                                    Practice Day: As part of signing up you will receive a free practice session to get you comfortable on water and answer any questions you have with our expert. Full details of the practice day are provided once you have registered for the challenge. Date to be confirmed once numbers are finalised.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                No Entry Fee: the challenge is Sudbury to the Sea, 26 miles probably spread over 2 days with a night camping at Wissington near Nayland. This is a very scenic route and to me, the distance sounds about right as a challenge.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      There is no entry fee to take part in this challenge, all we ask is that each person raises around £100+             We will assist with setting you up with a fundraising page linked to the challenge, provide sponsorship forms and can give you tips on how to achieve your target, so you are fully supported to help achieve your target. As well as a fundraising t shirt and full support throughout the weekend.
