Her Power Her Play

Golf day in Kent

An exciting, free, empowering event for women with disabilities to play, learn and connect is coming to London. On Saturday 6th June, The Golf Trust will be taking over The Shire London.

Her Power Her Play, launched in October 2025, addresses the gender and disability inequality gap in physical activity participation. We want to learn about the barriers to physical activity experienced by women with disabilities.

Her Power Her Play includes a golf taster session delivered by expert coaches. Followed by a networking lunch to meet like-minded women. After lunch, we will host a panel of speakers sharing their experiences of being a woman with disabilities and participating in sport and recreation. It’s a chance for women to play, learn and connect.

Morgan Run – Bury St Edmunds

Following the success of last year’s event, we are delighted to be planning another Steel Bones Morgan Run on Sunday 9 August.

This special day brings together members of the Morgan car community and the Steel Bones family for a memorable experience. Volunteer Morgan drivers will collect amputees or family members and take them on a scenic drive through the countryside, finishing at a central location for a relaxed picnic and the chance to socialise.

Routes and meeting points will vary depending on where drivers are based, but we expect the final destination to be within approximately 20 miles of Bury St Edmunds.

If you would like to be picked up from your home, please let us know when registering. Home pick-ups will be offered subject to driver availability, and we will always do our best to accommodate requests.

Further details will be shared soon. If you’re interested in taking part — either as a participant or supporter — we’d love to hear from you.

If you would like to register your car, please email gary@steelbone.co.uk
